High-Pressure Regulators
For pressure reduction from high-pressure gas sources and cylinder systems.
Gas pressure control
Reliable pressure reduction and control for industrial gas distribution, high-purity applications and point-of-use systems. PES selects regulators according to gas type, inlet pressure, required outlet pressure, flow, purity, materials and end-use requirements.
PES regulator portfolio
A pressure regulator reduces and controls gas pressure from an upstream source to a controlled downstream pressure suitable for the next stage of the gas system or the end-use equipment.
The regulator is selected according to where it sits in the gas architecture and what pressure and flow conditions exist at that point.
PES selects regulators according to gas type, inlet pressure, required outlet pressure, flow, purity, materials and end-use requirements.
For pressure reduction from high-pressure gas sources and cylinder systems.
For secondary pressure control within industrial, laboratory and point-of-use distribution pipelines.
For applications where one pressure-reduction stage meets the inlet variation, stability and process requirements.
For applications requiring pressure reduction in two stages under changing inlet conditions.
For laboratories, instrumentation, laser systems, specialty gases and sensitive process equipment.
Compact pressure-control arrangements installed close to production machinery, brazing stations or laboratory equipment.
Exact specifications are selected from the applicable regulator model and manufacturer datasheet. PES reviews the engineering fields below rather than treating the regulator as an isolated component.
Materials, seals and cleaning requirements may vary by gas.
The regulator must suit the actual upstream pressure.
The pressure range must match the downstream process.
Required flow must be considered alongside pressure control.
Standard, precision or two-stage regulation may be appropriate.
Wetted components must be compatible with the gas.
Connection type and size must suit the pipe, tube or panel.
Source, manifold, pipeline, panel and point-of-use locations create different requirements.
Available configurations and specifications vary according to gas service, pressure requirements and application.
| Specification | Available Options |
|---|---|
| Gas | O₂ / N₂ / CO₂ / Ar / He / Mixed Gas |
| Inlet Pressure | Available according to configuration |
| Outlet Pressure | Available according to configuration |
| Body Material | SS / Brass |
| Stages | Single Stage / Two Stage |
| Connection | NPT / BSP / Tube |
| Application | Cylinder / Pipeline / Point of Use |
Prema Engineering Services does not treat the regulator as an isolated component. We evaluate how it interacts with the complete gas system.
Where required, PES assembles regulators with valves, gauges, filters and associated components into a coordinated gas-control panel. Final configuration is selected according to the application.
The regulator is one part of a complete point-of-use gas system. PES can engineer the complete arrangement around the brazing process, equipment interface and operating requirements.
Regulator integration into manifolds, panels and point-of-use assemblies.
Appropriate pressure, leak and functional testing according to equipment and system requirements.
Verification of the installed system before handover.
